Yes, we are! We’ve been planning for a retreat in Portland, Oregon in February 2022. We are also looking at possibly the East Coast in April and Sicily, Italy in September.
We always have the vision to do small and intimate retreats like mini-StagerCons, where we get together, eat good food, relax and work at a beautiful location.

Not particularly, but when Cindy got this design back from our brand designer, Cindy loves that it looks like a moon.
Because running a business can be very cyclical. There are days when it feels very full, and days when it feels low. Also, Cindy likes the association and the idea behind the moon. We don’t shine as brightly as the sun, but we are there to support our community. Cindy feels that this reflects her idea of what she wants for an international school of home staging.
There are a few reasons for this big change.
The biggest of them all is that we can make a much more significant impact by teaching people about home staging than doing 1:1 work with the clients. Through podcasting and education, we can reach a wider range of audiences around the world, without the limits of geography.
After more than a decade in home staging, Cindy also feels frustrated that
A) Home sellers still don’t fully understand what home staging is and rather hire a home stager who is simply cheap, but may not be the best for the listing. It is heartbreaking to watch sellers leaving $$$ on the table when they could’ve gotten more out of their sale.
She feels that by training home stagers properly, we can elevate the industry as a whole while educating home sellers and real estate agents.
B) She feels that there are some major flaws in the home staging industry when it comes to education. Many training schools are founded by non-stagers. Not only so, but there is also a gap between a home stager graduating from an expensive home staging training program to actually running a successful AND profitable home staging business. Many new home stagers invested a lot of $$$ in their home staging education but unable to get the return on investment because their businesses had failed. This is counter-productive for the industry as a whole.
C) Cindy feels strongly that she wants to build a different kind of home staging school that is also diverse and inclusive. Some of the competitors use diversity and inclusivity as marketing slogans, which deeply upsets Cindy, who is also the only BIPOC trainer in North America.
Our universities never came back to ask us to renew our diploma, neither should your real estate training!
This is a pure money grab by training schools, and it is an outdated practice in the real estate industry. We do not feel that it is necessary. Therefore, it is not in our business practice to do so.
Our intention of the school is for you to gain the skills necessary to succeed and accomplish your goals as a home staging business owner.
Once you’ve enrolled and paid your tuition in full, that’s the only course investment. We will never ask you for more $ even if we had raised the price on the course.
