What Millennials Want Plus Home Staging Community Building with Top Atlanta Stager Krisztina Bell | The Home Staging Show Podcast Season 9 Episode 7
About Today’s Show & About Krisztina
The home staging industry has experienced a lot of change in the past few years, especially with HGTV’s explosion in popularity, ever-savvier buyers and sellers, and the entrance of millennials into the real estate market. It’s no wonder that now more than ever, communities of home stagers are popping up around the globe. These communities are valuable sources of information, mentorship, and inspiration - and today’s guest is a huge advocate for teaming up with other stagers in your market and around the country.
Krisztina Bell is an Atlanta-based home stager, vacant properties specialist, and the pioneer of “virtual staging”. She provides her clients with over 14 years of experience in the real estate and home staging industries. She also consults with and teaches agents in Atlanta and nationwide about the importance of transforming any vacant property listing into a beautifully staged home that sells faster and for top dollar through her two Atlanta-based companies, No Vacancy, Inc. and Virtually Staging Properties, Inc. And she teaches agents how to use home staging as a marketing tool in a popular, three-hour continuing education (CE) class.
Krisztina and I had so much fun talking about how she started and grew her business into a thriving home staging & virtual staging powerhouse. We discuss the importance of good staging for selling vacant properties, how millennials are changing the home staging game, and how DIY culture is affecting the role of stagers in the buying & selling process. Krisztina also shares some awesome advice about tools & apps you can use to choose paint colors, marketing for properties, and what millennials in particular are looking for in her home housing market of Atlanta. She’ll be back to talk about virtual staging another day, but don’t miss everything we cover in this episode!
On today’s show, we discussed:
How the Atlanta housing market has grown and changed so rapidly in the last few years.
Why home staging is just arriving in Atlanta and what this means for the stagers in the area.
How the popularity of HGTV and design shows is affecting the work of stagers and interior designers.

Where Krisztina looks when she wants to hire a new stager.
Why it’s so important to build & participate in community as a home stager and/or real estate agent.
Why so many Millennials now shop online for a home before setting foot in an open house, and the implications this has for staging & home photography.
