Home Staging Repairs and Updates Budget Planning | Day 4 of 30-Day Home Staging Challenge
Hey guys, Happy February. I can’t believe the whole January has already gone by. I still miss the holidays! Welcome to the Day 4 of the 30-Day Home Staging Challenge!
On today’s show, we are going to talk about budgeting. When you are working on the plan to prepare your home for sale and getting your home staged, they are largely determined by how much budget you have. We have to have a realistic expectations on budgets. You can’t have champagne taste on beer budget. It’s just not going to work. I also don’t want you to go crazy at the store either, because that’s not what this is about. This is about getting your home ready for sale. A lot of times I see homeowners get really excited about the shopping part and they get over excited and they end up over budget. So for today, especially in the Action Steps, I want you to focus on building a budget that makes sense for your listing, especially after you’ve done the First Walkthrough, things should be much clearer for you in terms of repairs, updates, colors and finishes.
