Staged4more Community Efforts

From Cindy, Owner of Staged4more:

During my service year at City Year DC, it was all about putting idealism to work. It was not just a catch phrase, we did. We put our idealism to work through action, through giving back to our community by teaching
in local schools, educating the general public about HIV/AIDS and cleaning up playgrounds and abandoned
schools.

I had never stray far away from non-profits up until 2006 when I started Staged4more. Last year was crazy busy building this company from nothing and have not been able to give back to the community. Before starting Staged4more, I had was always actively involved in various organizations through sitting on Board of Directors, giving my time, as well as raising funds for non-profits. I was a poor young professional (heh and actually still am). I didn't have money, I had time. Now that I don't have much spare time, I still want to do something.

This year, now Staged4more has a much more solid foundation, one of my major goals this year is to start giving

Here are a few ways that Staged4more gives back:

* in-kind donations such as redesign & staging services
* IAHSP Foundation
* cash grants in the following areas
* arts
* youth & education
* green & environmental endeavors

To request a donation or grant, please submit the following to community@staged4more.com:

* A brief description of your organization
* A copy of your organization's federal tax-exempt letter from IRS
* A description of the project/event of which the donation will be used
* The date of the donation is needed
* The desired amount of donation (if requesting a cash grant, the maximum donation is at $500)
* How Staged4more's contribution will be acknowledged at the event

Please note Staged4more does not donate to the following:

* political organizations
* religious organization, except those with a social service program that operates separately from the
church. The program must have its own tax-exempt 501(c)(3) status, and must have its own mission
statement and board of directors
* organizations that discriminate
* individuals

Every February, in celebration ofour anniversary, 10% of the each staging installation* will go
toward the seller's favorite charity.
